The evolution of a better consultancy

In 1992, Dave Peterson, a talented and experienced consultant for a "Big 5" firm, had an epiphany. A great consultancy did not have to be a big, centrally located firm, flying its consultants out to distant clients. Neither did it have to be a small, local, niche boutique. He had a better model in mind. So he founded North Highland on the premise that it would serve its clients locally, yet with broad and deep service area expertise.

Today, North Highland has 49 offices in the U.S. and around the world, staffed with thousands of experienced and committed leaders in the consulting industry. The result is a new model for consulting efficiency and effectiveness.

Our consultants, who live and work where our clients do, are at the top of their game — averaging over 15 years of experience. Yet we leverage our national and global network of cross-segment and cross-industry expertise to provide a comprehensive solution resource for our clients. We also guarantee our work.
